So Disney are back on the cha ching wagon yet again, if it
is not a new live action remake of a classic cartoon, it is
taking a loverable Disney movie and making a re-make or
a follow up.
We are now been served up another Mary Poppins movie.
Into the woods director Rob Marshall will handle the project
for the studio.
The new Mary Poppins will take place twenty years after the
original Mary Poppins, in depression-era London.
The new film will draw material from several of the P.L.
Traver's children books.
The film itself will not be a proper sequel, but it will continue
the adventure's of Mary Poppins and the Bank's family.
The music and songs will be penned by Marc Shaiman and
Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Smash) and the screenplay will be
written by Finding Neverland and Life Of Pi writer David
