Kenneth Branagh to Direct Artemis Fowl Movie

Source:Comingsoon.net
Way way back I believe it was around 2013, the Emperor

known as Walt Disney and The Weinstein Company

announced there plans to develop an adaption to the hit book

series Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer.

It seems that those plans are now moving forward, as today

The Tracking Board reports, that the great Kenneth Branagh

The man behind Thor and Cinderella has signed on to

develop and direct the adaption.

Back when the movie was first announced in 2013, the

screenplay was planned to be written by Harry Potter and

the order of the phoenix scribe Michael Goldenberg, but

todays update via variety, suggess that Irish playwright

Conor McPherson has been approached to write the

screenplay.

Who is excited for this movie?

I for one was very excited for this movie, when I thought it

was some other children's book that I had read (can not

remember the name of it) but now come to realise, that I

have never read the Artemis Fowl books, so now I am

unsure.

Vincent Cassel to Face Matt Damon as Villain in Next ‘Bourne’ Film

Source:The Wrap
What more can you say about this, just look at Cassel's

head, he has such a villian head and  his face just screams

Villian.

Vincent Cassel has been cast in the next Bourne film, along

side Matt Damon, Alicia Vikander, Tommy Lee Jones and

Julia Stiles.

The movie will be directed by Paul Greengrass, who also

co-wrote the screenplay with Christopher Rouse.

Plot details are still unkown, yet production is expected to

begin this year to hit theatres July 29th 2016.

The Muppets: Kermit The Frog's New Girlfriend Denise First Look

Source:ComicBook.com

It has took good old Kermit 60 years, but it seems he has

swapped out Miss Piggy for a younger model (hay that's

showbizz) and can I be the first to say, she looks like a right

muppet (did you see what I did there)

People has the first image of Kermit's new girlfriend, Denise

but it seems to me that Kermit seems to have a definite type

'PIG'S'

The Muppet's Premieres Sept 22 at 8pm ET on ABC.

The Disney Empire rises (The Death Of Marvel & Star Wars)

Source:Newsarama.com

Now anyone who reads my blogs know that I have a little

beef with Disney, don't get me wrong even though I have a

beef, I love there movies, I've visited Disney Land, and I

think they are going to do a great job on the new StarWars.

I just feel that, Disney are going to run Marvel into the ground

StarWars into the ground, and they going to destroy the

movie business whilst they are at it.

I mean I love a good SuperHero film, but we don't need

27 a year (over exagerated) or is it?

Like StarWars, give us a new trilogy, but now 100 spin offs.

People will just get sick.

It seems the takeover as begun.

It has been reported that Marvel's film division is no longer

under the oversight of Marvel entertainment.

In a move reportedley orchestrated by Marvel Studio's

president Kevin Feige, Marvel's ultra-successful film division

now reports to the Emperor and Darth Vader, sorry I meant

to say Walt Disney studio's and it's chairman Alan Horn.

New ‘Macbeth’ Trailer

Source:ComicBookResources.com

Now this is a film that I can not wait to see.

Usualy I'm not a huge Shakespeare fan, as most the time, I

have no clue what they are saying, but Macbeth is something

that I study a lot at school, so I have a strong understanding

of the story, and I think it is a great book.

But that is not the only reason I'm looking forward to this

adaptation of Macbeth, it also has to do with Michael

Fassbender, I thought from the first trailer, he looked

awesome, and there was one particular bit in the trailer,

where he just looked like a mad man, and I thought to myself

this is going to be great. Now we have a second trailer and

not only does Fassbender look amazing, but so do the rest

of the cast, you can check out the new trailer below.

THE FLASH Casts 'Zoom' For Season 2

Source:ComicBookMovie.com

When the Flash started last year, I must admit at the start I

was not a huge fan off the show, after getting sucked into the

dark world of Starling City in the Arrow, The Flash was a

little to light and cheesey for me, but by the end of the

season the show grew on me and I became a fan.

In the first season we had the villain Dr Wells

(Reverse-Flash) who was a pritty good villian, but they plan

to top this villian in season 2 by introducing the villainous

Zoom.

Well Variety reveals that horror icon star of Candyman Tony

Todd has been cast as the voice of Zoom, and Zoom will

make his first apperance in the second episode (The Flash

Of Two Worlds)

Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg tells the trade.

"Part of the mystery of the season is who or what is underneath the Zoom outfit, and
so we wanted to do something like James Earl Jones as Darth Vader — this iconic voice coming out of this mask. Last year, we thought of the Reverse-Flash as a speed warrior; this year, Zoom is like a speed demon, and no one does demon-voice better than Tony Todd."

It also sounds like we should take that ''speed demon''

description quite literally too, as Kreisberg goes on to

compare Zoom's apperance to Venom, adding:

"The Zoom outfit is much more organic than the Reverse-Flash suit. In a way, it’s hard to tell if it is a suit or alive… There’s no skin showing, for all you know there’s a robot underneath, or dark energy."

CBS Cancels Under the Dome

Source:CommingSoon.Net

CBS have finally decided to cancel Under The Dome.

Life Under The Dome will conclude at the end of the currently

airing  third season. The final episode will air Thursday,

September 10 at 10:00pm ET/PT.

All I can say is that to me this was obvious. Under The

Dome is a show that I sit down with the wife to watch, now

she will be devastated about the news when I tell her when

she gets in from work, but if I'm honest I'm kind of glad

because this season sucked balls. I must admit the first

seasons I enjoyed, this season as soon as it started I was

like ''what the f*%k''.

So am I suprised no, but how about you guy's? Was you

shocked that CBS decided to cancel Under The Dome?
