Red Band Trailer For Scouts Guide To The Zombie Apocalypse

How did this one miss my radar?

I must admit I love horror, movies and especially horror

movies with a bit of cheese, and to be honest I had not

heard nothing about this movie until this morning.

The movie I am talking about is horror comedy

'Scout's GUIDE To The Zombie Apocalypse'.

The movie had a relatively small presence at the comic con

this year, but is now ramping up ahead of its release in a

couple of months, and now we have the first UK trailer which

is a Red Band trailer, full of blood, swearing, bullets and

nudity and it looks f*%$ing awesome.

You can check out the trailer below.

Max Landis Pitches His Idea for ‘Lethal Weapon 5′

Source:/film

Come on who would not like to see another 'Leathal Weapon'

movie?

Well it seems that Max Landis would, has he even has a

pitch for a fifth outing of our favourite cop duo Murtaugh

and Riggs.

Chronicle writer Max Landis, may be a new talent in

Hollywood, but he has been around the industry his entire

life. As you can guess by the name he is the son of John

Landis, the director of Animal House, Blues Brother, and

Micheal Jackson's music video 'Thriller'.

Max Landis was speaking to Grantland, while promoting

'American Ultra' which he wrote, and the conversation turned

to 'Lethal Weapon', which prompted Landis to give a quick

''pocket pitch'' for what he would do for 'Leathal Weapon 5'

which he would make the final movie in the series.

“The final Lethal Weapon, if I have to pocket-pitch it right now, is Murtaugh and Riggs are asked to work with a group of, like, four cops who are younger, who were all involved in an action movie that we didn’t see. You hear the report, and it sounds like a Lethal Weapon movie: ‘They drove a school bus off of an oil rig?’ Then Murtaugh and Riggs are assigned to take them on like an Outward Bound program and try to teach them to be better cops and respect authority. Then it turns out the villain from the action movies that we missed is coming to kill them. Murtaugh and Riggs in the woods for the first time in any of the movies, with four characters we really like, do a slasher movie.”

'Bored to Death’ Creator Jonathan Ames Gives an Update on the Movie’s Progress

As we all know Jonathan Ame's the created of the Emmy -

award winning HBO series 'Bored To Death' is doing the

media rounds for his new up and coming show ' Blunt Talk',

staring the great Patrick Stewart. It would only be obvious

then that they would be mention of the 'Bored To Death'

movie, and if we will ever see one?

For those of you that are unfamiliar with 'Bored To Death',

the series was a kind of noir comedy that stared Jason

Schwartzman as  a struggling writer masquerading as a

private detective. The series ran for three seasons between

2009 - 2011. The last we heard about a movie was way back

in 2012 when HBO was mullling over a feature film for a

fitting send of for the show after deciding not to renew it.

We now have more on the process of the movie, thanks to

our folks over at Collider .

Collider: I’m a big fan of Bored to Death so I have to ask, is there any movement on anything, or is it quiet time?
Jonathan Ames: What I like is that, in some ways, it’s still very much alive, people keep asking me about it, which is great. I’ve written two drafts of a Bored to Death movie, but I don’t know that they’re quite right so I’m going to take a third crack at it at some point. But we do have Jason Schwartzman in this first season of Blunt Talk. Again, that was a very memorable scene. I don’t want to give too much away but Jason has always reminded me of a young Al Pacino, so we have an homage to Dog Day Afternoon with [him] and Patrick. So, for fans of Bored to Death, you’ll have a little bit of Jason Schwartzman, and other characters that were on that show. I had the actors – Brett Gelman, John Hodgman – different characters, wonderful characters in Blunt Talk.
So they you have it folks, script's are been written, but I do

think, we are in for one hell of a wait.

Christopher Yost to Write ‘Masters of the Universe’ Film

Source:spinoff.comicbookresources

This is so bizzarre, well not that bizzarre just one of those

coincidence's I guess. I had not heard anything for a while

of the 'Masters Of the Universe' film, and the other day I was

making a review video, for a Youtube channel, and I was

reviewing the old eighties, Master Of The Universe toys, I

have no idea now what that has to do with the article, so lets

crack on.

'Thor: The Dark World'' screenwriter Christopher will turn his

focus away from one muscular blonde dude to another.

It is reported by Variety that Yost has been approached by

Sony pictures and Escape Artists to come in and do some

re-writes of the new planned 'Masters Of The Universe'

reboot.

Kevin Smith Backs Ronda Rousey For Captain Marvel Role

Source:ComicBook.Com
A couple of weeks back, I am sure you heard that Ronda

Rousey posted a comment that she would love to play Carol

Danvers. When she posted this, I had just previously the

night before watched Ronda Rousey in the movie 'Entourage'

where she play's herself, and I thought F$^* this woman is

tough, Then the next day I see that she has posted on

Twitter that she would love to play Captain Marvel, and I was

like yes.

This got quite a lot of Social Media attention, and then she

even posted art of herself as the superherione, and now

support for the actress as gone viral. The support has grown

so large, it even made itself to the great Kevin Smith.

Smith as we all know is a devout comic book fan himself,

and he even thinks Rousey would make an excellent live

action Captain Marvel.

“Everyone knows that she’s one of the only people that could play a superhero that could actually beat the #$*^ out of somebody,” Smith told TMZ. “I would like to see it happen.”
