YES, YES, YES, PLEASE.
Flight Of The Concords was introduced to me and the wife
by my best friend and we loved the show, and now there
might be a movie, brilliant.
So how true is this? And if so how far along are we?
Well in an interview with IndieWire, Jemaine Clement one
half of the fantastic duo claimed that a
''Flight Of The Concords'' movie was indeed in the early
stages of development.
''We have actually started writing one. Who knows if it will ever be made, we’ve written some notes for some different film ideas. We’re not down to the stage where we’re going, “The film is going to be like this,” it could be this, this, this, this, this.''
But wait, there is a little more for us, in another interview
with Consequence Of Sound Clement revealed that there is
also a reunion tour in the works, and scheduled to hit the
the road sometime next year.
We were planning on doing it this summer, but then I ended up doing (Steven Spielberg's) The BFG instead. So it’s my fault we didn’t do it this time. But we are hoping to announce a tour. We’ll announce it before the end of the year, hopefully, and then some time next year get on the road … after we get some new guitar strings and that sort of thing.”
We can see that the plans are, up in the air, but not a
definite. We can only hope.
