TV series, we have 'Psycho' 'Hannibal' so why not
'Friday the 13th'.
According to Deadline. CW Network head Mark Pedowitz

based on the popular horror movie franchise.
Steve Mitchell and Craig Van Sickle, who created 'The
Pretender' TV series, have been hired to write the series.
While there are few details on the series, deadline reports
'the idea has been to do a contemporary series focusing on
the eclectic characters of Crystal Lake who are forced to
confront the return of the killer, as new secrets about his
wacky family are revealed.
The series will feature Jason Vorhees, but he is reportedly
