Well even though I do like a bit of StarTrek, when it come's
to the crunch, I am a StarWars person all the way, but on
saying that the following news interest's me and I will surely
watch.
Alex Kurtzman is attached to the new series, who produced
the StarTrek feature film series, co-wrote 2013's Star Trek
Into Darkness and 2009's franchise revival.
The new show is planned to premiere in January 2017 on
CBS, before new episodes debut on it's digital and VOD
platform.
The new Star Trek will introduce new charactors seeking
imaginative new worlds and new civilizations, while exploring
the dramatic contemporary themes that have been a
signature of the franchise since its inception in 1966.
