Fox is Making a ‘Rambo’ Series,

For years now there has been speculation and rumours that they would be a fifth Rambo film, at one point there was even talks that John Rambo would be battling a genetically engineered monster in Rambo: Savage Hunt 
(now there is a movie I would pay top dollar to see).

Then there was talks that Rambo would take his fight to Mexico fighting off the drug cartel, and last year even Rambo
himself Sylvester Stallone doubled down on the drug cartel concept and was telling us all it would be filmed after Creed and would be titled Last Blood. 

But it seems that plans have now changed for Rambo 5, it may not be dead, but it's now going to have to compete with a new concept for a television show titled 
Rambo: New Blood. 

The series would see the story of John Rambo continue, but wait a minute John Rambo will have his long lost son for the ride, come of it when did John Rambo have the time to plant his seed. 

The news comes via the folks at Deadline, who report that Stallone has made a deal to executive produce the series. 
The article by Deadline also speaks about how the series will explore the complex relationship between Rambo and his son J.R. an ex Navy Seal.

I'm sorry but I would have rather seen a fifth outing of Rambo then this stupid idea of a TV Show. 
Haven't the studio's learnt that bringing the son in to a franchise of an iconic character, doesn't do the film any justice and doesn't work Die Hard, Indiana Jones, it doesn't work 
Well I'm sorry to report, that this is not on my things to look forward to list.
