Well I am not sure how long an American version of the 

movie Death Note has been planned, but there has been 

talks for half a decade.

But it seems that Death note looks like it is finally kicking into

gear. The movie is to be directed by Adam Wingard, and 

Variety now reports that the movie has found it's leading 

man in Paper Towns Nat Wolf.

Adam Wingard the director behind two great movies You're

next and TAhe Guest, will begin production on Death Note

next spring from a screenplay by Jeremy Slater

(Fantastic Four).

Enchanted Sequel Moving Forward at Disney as Disenchanted

I was a huge fan of Enchanted, I thought it was one of the 

best family movies, and who doesn't Love Amy Adams. 

When I found out about that there was a sequel in the works 

I think that I was a little more excited than my 6 year old 

daughter, but that now seems like many moons ago. 

But now we have a little more news on the sequel, but not a 

lot.

We now know that the movie has the working title of 

Disenchanted, but still no information of the storyline.

We do know however that Anne Fletcher is still attached to 

direct, although the script initially penned by Jessie Nelson is 

getting an overhaul before Disney gives it the greenlight. 

Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfield are expected to 

produce.  

Nicolas Winding Refn-Produced ‘Maniac Cop’ Remake Finds a Director

I remember as a kid loving Maniac Cop, and I must admit 

that I am all down with a Maniac Cop remake. 

The Maniac Cop remake, has been talked about now for 

quite a few years, but lately it has started to feel like more 

of a reality. 

Original Maniac Cop director William Lustig had been 

working on a new Maniac Cop for a while before Nicolas 

Winding Refn signed on in 2012. Then in 2014, we heard 

information that comic book writer Ed Brubaker, known 

criminal series and Marvels Winter Soldier Storyline had 

signed on to write the script. 

But today we have learnt that John Hyams is now onboard 

to direct.  Hyams is best known for directing Universal Soldier

Regeneration and Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning. 

This is what Hyams has said about the project on Twitter. 

It’s true. A tremendous opportunity — collaborating with Nicolas Winding Refn, from a phenomenal script by Ed Brubaker.

It’s the follow up movie I’ve been waiting for.

The Flash Season 2 Trailer: Who's The Zoom?

So not long now until we get the second season of the Flash,

So CW have released a new trailer for the second season 

of the Flash, and even though I was not a huge fan of the 

first series, I am still looking forward too the second season.

The new trailer does include the new villian Zoom, who will 

be voiced by horror star Tony Todd. Zoom comes from the 

same alternate universe as the Flash called Jay Garrick.

In the second season of the Flash, Garrick will become a 

kind of mentor to Barry Allen, and the Flash of to worlds will 

team up to take down the evil villian Zoom.

THE REVENANT Gets A New Trailer

Now this is a film that I can not wait to see, not only does it 

star, what people who know me like to say is my man crush 

(Tom Hardy) but it also stars Leonardo Decaprio, and is 

directed by Birdman director Alejandro Gonzalez.

Who can not be excited about this, please tell me. 

Anyway the movie I am talking about is The Revenant.

Based on the true story of one Hugh Glass, who was 

saveagely mauled by a bear and left for dead by a handful of 

friends while traipsing around South Dakota.

A Fanmade Spider Gwen trailer that is awesome.

Vulture the other day posted what is not a bad fanmade 

trailer for Spider-Gwen, if you may recall that on one point 

Sony was actually planning a female led Spidey Spinoff, 

however Marvel scrambled all the plans of that, so this will 

more than likely be the close's we get to a Spider-Gwen 

movie for a while.

The fake trailer pulls clips from the movies  The Amazing 

Spiderman, Birdman and Easy A, to put the wonderful 

Emma Stone at the art of the action, to become

Sorry to say but if this news is true, I am not sold. Now I may 

sound a bit harsh as I have not rely seen Damian Lewis act 

in anything, and I must be one of a few people in the world 

that has never seen Homeland, but after all the talks of a new

Bond successor I have had my heart set on Tom Hardy or 

even Edris Elba to take over after Daniel Craig. 

BUT according to a well placed source for the Sunday Mirror

the British tabloid reports if Daniel Craig Leaves the role 

after Spectre Damian Lewis will be crowned the next Bond. 

Robbie Amell Confirms Filming X-Files Scene With The Cigarette Smoking Man

This is the news that I have been waiting for. Back when 

I was a young lad, I loved the X-files show, it must have 

been one of the best shows on TV, and when I heard it was

coming back I cried a little with joy. 

But the question on everyone's lips I am sure was would the 

cigarette smoking man return. 

Today that has been answered. 

Robbie Amell, who has joined the cast of the X-files reboot 

let slip at Salt Lake Comic Con that the series most 

memorable villian is a sure thing.

"I don't know what's a secret, so I could get into a lot of trouble with this question," Amell joked. "I had a scene with Cigarette-Smoking man, so he is in it. I hope that doesn't get me in a huge..." and then he trailed off.

Is Jon Snow Really Dead? We Think Not

It look's like 'Game Of Thrones' needs to work on keeping 

a secret.

The end of the debate of is Jon Snow dead or isn't he may

have been answered. Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) was spotted 

on the set looking very much alive. 

The Daily Mail shot some grainy photo's showing Harrington 

shooting a scene in Belfast with his sword holstered on his 

hip, but as I write this and go to link the page, the website 

can no longer be accessed. Sorry producer's but you are too 

late to keep this under wraps the images have been seen. 

Men In Black being rebooted, without Will Smith

It is been said that a new trilogy of Men In Black films are 

planned but Will Smith is likely not to be involved. 

Sony Spent a lot in trying to bring the Men In Black back to 

our screens a few years back, and even though the movie 

did a decent take at the box office, after paying out, it did 

not make enough for the studio, but Sony plan to bring it 

back yet again with a trilogy of films. 

Producers Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald have 

revealed whilst chatting to the Hollywood Reporter that there 

is plans for more Men In Black Films in the future. 

However when asked if Will Smith would be returning to the 

franchise Parkes said 'Most likely not, no'. MacDonald then 

added that the series 'will be reinvented as a trilogy'.  

So I'm guessing that we are going to see the likes of Josh 

Gad, sticking on a black suit, and been just that Josh Gad in 

a black suit, or who ever is the funny man in Hollywood at 

the time of the movie been made. 

Exorcist Remake In The Works

Is there anypoint waisting my breath and saying that I  am

not surprised. I think I have now got past the point of 

bitching and moaning about all the great films that are been 

remade, if this is the new Hollywood, lets be uncreative and 

just turn out the same old shit to make a buck or two then 

be it.

So anyway back to this not suprising remake. 

Morgan Creek Productions are to sell the domestic rights to 

their library of movies, they than plan to use these funds to 

raise sales to fund a number of new properties ( I like that 

word new). 

As part of any sale Morgan Creek retain remake rights for 

five titles, so you guest it more than likely you will get a 

remake of these titles Ace Ventura, Major League, Young 

Guns, Flying Tigers and the Exorcist. 

Morgan Creek CEO Jim Robinson has already stated that 

several of those properties including the Exorcist are 

already currently in works for a remake. 

Rumor Alert: Hayden Christensen Might Return to Star Wars?

of some sort, lets just hope there of over there to train him in

Gotham season 2: not reaching UK until 2016

As we all know Gotham season 2 kicked of in America this 

week. 

Sad news for anyone who lives in the UK like myself, it has 

been reported on the offical twitter page for channel 5 that 

Gotham season 2 will not hit the UK until 2016. 

There is no definite date yet as when in 2016 the series will 

air, but even so if it airs on New Years day, we would still 

be over three months behind the American broadcast. 

All I can say is Thank God for the internet and streaming, I 

will not be waiting three months or over before I watched 

Gotham. 

I mean come on a lot could happen in the show, and I have 

had many shows spoilt for me, because of news on the 

internet, and other social media sites. 

So if you are a UK resident, get streaming now.

John Wick 2 Filming Begins This Fall!

Well I'm hopeing that all my fellow readers, have seen John

Wick, if you havn't then I advice you to stop reading now and

give it a watch, because it is awesome. 

I think just like the movie Taken starring a badass Liam 

Neeson, John Wick cought you of guard. For those of you 

that maybe put of because it Stars Keeanu Reeve's, Don't 

be, I know that Keeanu is not the greatest actor, and he is a 

little wooden rest assured he hardley speaks in the movie 

and just kicks some ass.  

John Wick 2 will start filming this fall. Thunder Road 

yesterday confirmed as part of the announcement of their 

upcoming Outlaws Inc. 

John Wick 2 will be released through Lionsgat's summit 

Entertainment and will be produced by Thunder Road's Basil 

Iwanyk, who also produced the first film.  

‘The Angry Birds Movie’ First Trailer

As mentioned in a previous article, the addictive Smash-hit 

game Angry Birds, has finaly got itself made into a movie. 

The CG animated adaption is brought to you by Sony 

Pictures and Rovio and they have now debuted the first 

traile for the movie, which you can check out after a brief 

description of the movie.

Jason Sudeikis stars as the easily ruffled Red, who must 

team with his equally prickly friends Chuck (Josh Gad) and 

Bomb (Danny McBride) to fight back against the Bad Piggies

(Bill Hader) when they encroach upon their all-bird paradise. 

Prometheus 3 and 4 may be on the cards

I guess a lot of people will not be happy with the news of a 

Prometheus 2 & 3, as there was a lot of negative reviews 

around the first film, and we have not even seen the second

buy hay I'm down. 

As you may all know from a previous blog where I mentioned

my views about Prometheus, you will all know that on the 

first watching of the movie I wasn't a hugh fan. But a few 

month's after the first viewing, and I had got into my head 

that Prometheus was not an Alien movie, the second time 

round I did not mind the movie. 

Now before even seeing the second I'm told there may be a 

2 & 3. 

Whilst Ridley Scott has been promoting his new movie the 

Martian. Scott has also been chatting about the Prometheus 

sequel and whether or not the movies will end up as originaly

planned leadiing into the first Alien movie. 

''Yes'' told Scott to FilmFlutter, ''but it will not be in the next 

one'',  so rest asured, I will not be walking into Prometheus 

2 expecting an Alien movie. On that matter Scott also added 

it may not even happen in the third Prometheus movie.

''It will be in the one after this or maybe even the fourth film 

before we go back to the Alien franchise''.

Well all I can say, will we get Blomekamp's Alien 5, before 

all outing's of Prometheus, I hope so. 

COLOSSUS MAY BE PLAYING A SLIGHTLY LARGER ROLE IN DEADPOOL

The best news that I have come across all morning, 

Colossus will be a larger role in DeadPool. This for me is 

great, because I am a huge Colossus fan. All that could 

make this news better is a solo Colossus movie.

During a panel at Amazing Hawaii Comic Con, DeadPool 

creator Rob Liefeld, confirmed that Colossus would be 

playing more than a passing role in the movie. 

"You are going to love Colossus. He's in it - I hope Fox doesn't get mad at me - he's in it a good amount. He doesn't just walk through the movie."

Is anyone as excited as much as I am about this news?

 lets hope he shows up in any sequels.

Colin Trevorrow Talks JURASSIC WORLD Trilogy; Teases The Future Of 'Owen' & 'Claire'

Jurassic Park is now one of the biggest grossing films, the

movie has grossed over $1.659 billion at the world wide 

box office, after it's success it was obvious that a sequel 

would be made. But director Colin Trevorrow, said that he 

had already planned for a trilogy. 

In a recent apperance on the Jurassic Cast Podcast, 

Trevorrow opened up about the future of the franchise.

We looked at it as a trilogy from the very beginning. We designed the whole thing that way. And, honestly, the whole trilogy is articulated in Jurassic Park. Jurassic World is all based on Ian Malcom’s quote: ‘you stood on the shoulders of geniuses to accomplish something as fast as you could and before you knew what you had, you’d packaged it and slapped it on a plastic lunchbox and now you want to sell it.’ That, to me, is Jurassic World. That’s why I had all the product placement, that’s what it was. So with Jurassic World 2 it’s: 'dinosaurs and man separated by 65 million years of evolution have been thrown back into the mix together – how can we know what to expect?'. That’s not the exact quote, but you get the idea. And that’s why its exciting the movie did well. I had a beginning, a middle and an end and it was designed this way. So now we get to play that out.

It’ll be a different kind of film and the audience has given us kind of permission to take this to the next level. And I don’t mean in scale. I feel very strongly that this is not ‘more dinosaurs’ or ‘bigger dinosaurs’, it’s about using this as a starting point to discover our relationship with these animals and with animals in general, and the dynamic that was created by bringing them back to life.

We made [Jurassic World] with the fans very much in mind and I’m not going to forget that, but we’ve seen a lot of ‘dinosaurs chasing people around on an island’ movies. And I think you guys and the general audience are going to be down to explore where else we can go. Owen is going to be in it, Claire is in it and neither are going to be in the same place we left them in the first movie. And even though Claire is the one who evolves the most over the trilogy, it’s her story that mirrors this changing world. Owen has shit to deal with. They’ve both opened Pandora’s Box in Jurassic World and both of them are responsible for different elements of it. And I think the way these characters are connected to these circumstances of what’s happening, it’s different than previous films. It’s not ‘let’s manufacture a way to get them somewhere’, they’re embedded into it now in a way that us storytellers are able to keep them involved without it feeling contrived.

First Look at ‘Supergirl’ Series Villain Red Tornado

We are still over a month away from the premiere of the new 

CBS series Supergirl, but if we are completley honest with 

ourselves, who didn't watch the leaked pilot about 6 months 

back, because I'm sorry, it started floating around the net 

and I just had to watch it. I will not spoil it for anyone or give

anything away, but I didn't mind it.

But this guy here Red Tornado is unseen in the pilot, but 

we are getting our first look here of this mystery villian 

played by Iddo Goldberg.
