First STAR TREK 3 Image Revealed by Director Justin Lin; Title Confirmed

So we have some speculation about the title of the new Star Trek movie. Justin Lin 

the director of the third installment of the rebooted Star Trek franchise has already been 

putting social media to good use. Lin managed by his Twitter account to not only reveal the 

title but also the first behind the scenes image. The title is presumed to be 

StarTrek Beyond, but we are unsure if the title is formatted this way to appease to the 

hastags or just to continue trend.

We advice if you have not all ready to watch the  2009, director Juan J. Campanella and his Argentine crime thriller film, "El Secreto De Sus Ojos" ("The Secret In Their Eyes") because what an amazing film it was. 

It was obvious that when a foreign movie gets international recognition that it can mean 

only one thing, yes we are going to get an English language remake.

The English Language remake is set to be written and directed by Billy Ray (the writer of “Captain Phillips,” the director of “Shattered Glass”) “Secret In Their Eyes” is described as an intense, powerful, haunting thriller which will star Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman andJulia Roberts.

GHOSTBUSTERS Uniforms Revealed by Paul Feig in Behind-the-Scenes Image

About a week ago filming kicked off on Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot in Boston. We then was treated to our first look at Melissa Mccarthy Kate Mckinnon and Kristen Wigg.


Then yesterday we where given a behind the scenes peak at the character's new uniforms, now it is not the girls in uniform which we would of liked, but it will do for now.

James Gunn Reveals the Official Title of 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2'

We all know by now that Producer for Marvel Kevin Feige, let slip whilst doing press talks for Ant-man the title for Guardians Of The Galaxy 2. 

“We start shooting 'Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2' in February-March 2016,” said Feige. 

There you have it, the title, nice basic and easy, 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2' 

 it was also confirmed a few hours later by James Gunn via twitter, that this was indeed the title for the Guardians sequel 

''Yes, the official title for the @Guardians sequel is GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2. Nice detective work, @colliderfrosty, etc! You got us!''

What are you thoughts on the title? To us at Gee Vision we love it, we felt that it made a lot of sense, after the story of mix tape vol 1, and Starlord receiving Mix tape Vol 2 at the end of the first film, and that the second will be about Starlords parents and more emotional, we think that the title fits very nicely.

Now obviously this is phone footage so the quality is excuse my french, dog shit, but it did get us that little bit more excited and we at Gee Vision can-not wait for the full trailer or this trailer in better quality, but hey at least we have something  

‘Top Gun 2′ Story Details Revealed; Tom Cruise Likely To Return

It is rumored that Jerry Bruckheimer is hard at work on developing a sequel to the 1986 movie Top Gun, and the title is? yes Top Gun 2. Producing alongside Bruckheimer and Paramount pictures is Skydance Productions the company that worked on the recent Terminator: Genisys.

So far we know that the script is currently being written by The Jungle Book scribe Justin Marks, and it has been indicated that they are approaching the sequel with a new and more modern take.

In addition to this Tom Cruise will be back for the sequel reprising his role as Fighter pilot Marverick, there is still nothing if Val Kilmer will be repricing his role as Ace.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 Update

It has been thirteen years now, since John Corbett had his Greek baptism in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and I must admit, I can not remember the first, movie, I do remember watching it, and not liking it, but come on I was 16 at the time. 

The first film was about the characters Toula and Ian who faced battles to marry across their different families and cultures. Toula a Greek- American from a lower-middle class extended family and Ian a non-Greek, with upper-middle class parents. 

We have no word on the story, or anything of that sorts yet, but we do have a picture taken from Nia Vardalos Instergram of John Corbett topless.

.Kirk Jones is directing the sequel, with Vardalos again writing the screenplay.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is set to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.

SPIDER-MAN WILL BATTLE NEW ONSCREEN VILLAIN ACCORDING TO KEVIN FEIGE

With us all looking at Tom Holland to be suiting up to play Sony and Marvels web swinging hero 'Spider-Man' The question now on everyone's lips, especially mine is who will Spidey face of against in the July 28th, 2017 feature?

They have been some great characters that our Spidey has faced in past movies such as Dr Octopus,Venom, Sandman, Electro, The Lizard and not forgetting three different versions of the Green Goblin. 

Kevin Feige has recently said via Comic Book Movie that we should not be expecting a repeat of any previous villains for Spidey's next throwdown. Feige noted that they would be tapping an unused villain for there latest reincarnation of our web slinging superhero. 
he said ''Right now we're interested in seeing villains we have not seen before''.

Elsewhere in a discussion, Feige has mentioned that this movie will have a John Hughes feel to the movie. 
''It's the soap opera in high school, like a John Hughes movie, all those supporting characters are interesting.... Not that we can make a John Hughes movie, only John Hughes could. But we are inspired by him, and merging that with the superhero genre in a way we have not done before excites us''. 

They you have it, the John Hughes feel excites me, but I hope that we do not get another Origin movie story, we have that already, Peter Parker, should be Spider already in this one.

''Heads Up'' The First 8mins Of The Scream TV Show

I have just watched the first eight minutes, so the opening to the scream TV series, which starts on Tuesday, and I must admit I got a little excited. 

This was something that I was kind of looking forward too, but where you keep telling yourself in the back of your mind this is going to be shit.  It's going to be a series full of hot bird's jock guys, living life to the full been complete arseholes, and I am just going to hate it.

But after watching these first 8 minutes, I am a lot more excited, OK it will have everything that I have mentioned above, but I still think it will be OK, and yes you do get to see Ghostface, and the mask is different but we think that it is rely good. 

I say this because, the scream mask since it as appeared in the Scary Movie franchise has become a bit of a joke, this mask looks a little freaky and scary.   

Anyway I will leave you to check this out for yourselves and tell us what you think. 

Harry Potter stage play to premiere in the West End next summer

OK, I do not usually write about stage productions, but this has caught my attention, as I am a fan of the Harry Potter franchise. 

A new Harry Potter stage play will go in to production and will Premiere in the West End next summer.

The stage play will be based on a story created by JK Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, The play will be titled, Harry Potter And The Cursed Child and will open at the Palace Theatre summer of next year. 

 Rowling via twitter has confirmed the play would not be a prequel.

She added: “It will tell a new story, which is the result of a collaboration between writer Jack Thorne, director John Tiffany and myself. I don't want to say too much more, because I don't want to spoil what I know will be a real treat for fans.”

Continuing, she said: “To answer one inevitable (and reasonable) question – why isn't Cursed Child a new novel? – I am confident that when audiences see the play they will agree that it was the only proper medium for the story. I've had countless offers to extend Harry's story over the years, but Jack, John and Sonia Friedman are a dream team. It has been a huge pleasure to share with them (and soon, with you) this untold part of Harry's story.”

Jon Bernthal Says He's Going To Give It His All When Playing The Punisher

I still do not know what to think about this one. I am a huge Punisher fan, and when the news broke that Jon Bernthal would be taking on the role of the Punisher, I did not see it, but as time passes and I have more time to digest this information and think about I am starting to get more excited about it.

Jon Bernthal will playing Frank Castle/The Punisher when Daredevil returns to Netflix for season 2 In 2016.

Frank Castle AKA The Punisher is a violent vigilante, after the death of his wife and son, who see's the world as plain black and white. We are sure the violence and the darkness of the Punisher will fit very nicely in the world of the Daredevil Show,

Patrick Macnee: 1922-2015

Beloved British actor Patrick Macnee, best known for his role as John Steed in 'The Avengers' has died at the age of 93. 

Before Patrick embedded the bowler hat and the handy use of an umbrella, which firmly embedded itself into sixties British Culture, the actor had many roles on stage, television and even film, these ranged from Shakespeare to Sherlock Holmes to even Bond. Macnee started is career at the age of sixteen as an extra. 

Macnee died at his Southern Calfornian home, in the company of his family, who are very much in our thoughts today.

Arnold Schwarzenegger confirms Twins 2, with plot details

The sequel to an 80's classic Twins starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito, has been going around the rumor mill now for a good few years. We have also known for a while now that the movie would be entitled Triplets, adding a third brother into the mix,and this one been another 80's movie legend Eddie Murphy.

The project has been on hold at Universal, looking like it would never see the light of day, yet in a new interview with Howard Stern, Arnie confirmed that ''Triplets is happening'', and the plan is still to cast Eddie Murphy.

Arnie also goes as far as to give us the brief plot to the movie

''We are talking about a sequel, where we find out at the funeral of our mother, when we read the will, that there's three of us'', Schwarzenegger revealed. Thus the hunt is on for the long-lost brother.

So there you have it, what are your thoughts on the Twins sequel? I say bring back films like good old 80's films, because there are some great classic, cult movies from this period.  

‘X-Men’ & ‘Fantastic Four’ Crossover Planned For 2018?

There has been many speculations of a x-men and fantastic four reboot evert since the fantastic four reboot was put into the works. 

But now according to the latest rumor over at Latino-review, it seems that Fox are indeed developing a x-men and Fantastic Four crossover.

According to their sources the current plan for Fox is permitting that Fantastic Four and X-men Apocalypse do well, and fare well with fans, then the superhero teams will more then likely cross paths in a 2018 x-men movie, which as of yet has not been officially confirmed.

But do take this information with a pinch of salt, because if this to be true, then the film would or should be in very early stages of  development.

But do we need a Fantastic Four and X-men? In our opinion no leave them alone, what are your thoughts?

SPIDER-MAN Confirmed for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

In the original Civil War comic book series, Spider-Man had a pivotal role on the side of Iron Man, and then later Captain America,Peter Parker reveals his identity  to the world, during a live TV broadcast. 

It has only been a day now that we learned that Tom Holland would be taking on the role of our friendly neighborhood Superhero Spiderman.

according to newsarama.com Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, have confirmed that spiderman will make his debut before 2017's Spider-Man.

Captain America: Civil War, is scheduled for a May 6, 2016, release. 

Could Wolverine 3 Really Be Based On Old Man Logan?

A recent post from Heroic Hollywoods El Mayimbe, dropped information that the upcoming Wolverine movie will be based on ''Wolverine: Old Man Logan.''

Old Man Logan is a post-apocalyptic bloody revenge thriller which features a very disturbed version of Wolverine and is written by Mark Millar.

If this is to be true we feel that a lot of details will be changed or adjusted for the big screen adaption, but it will be sure to give Hugh Jackman a very exciting send off.

Jon Watts to Direct Tom Holland in New 'Spider-Man' Movie for Sony

So a little late but I guess better late then never, the new Peter Parker has been cast, and Sony have decided that 19 year old Tom Holland will take over as our favorite neighborhood superhero Spidey, and they have set Jon Watts to direct the movie.

Many may not recognize the name Watts, but his credits include Cop Car a sundance midnight film, and he also directed the film clown and a number of episodes for The Onion News Network.

RUMOR: Chris Terrio To Write And Ben Affleck To Direct THE BATMAN For 2018 Release

A while back we heard of plans for a new solo Batman movie for Ben Affleck's Dark Crusader, and according to our number one movie news  source Latino-Review    that is still going to happen and the movie still has the tittle THE BATMAN. 

It appears that Warner brothers are a little concerned that there movies may be lost in 2018, as it is looking like Marvel will be having a very heavy year. So it is rumored that Warner's are planning to put THE BATMAN against CAPTAIN MARVEL in November of that year. 

Latino-Review also add that the writer of Batman VS Superman Chris Terrio who will also pen both the Justice League movies is set to work on the batman, along with Ben Affleck who will star and also direct the movie.

Michael Keaton to Produce and Star in ‘Imagine Agents’ Comic Book Adaptation

THR have reported that 20th century fox have just acquired the rights to Boom! Studios comic 'The Imagine Agents' and that Micheal Sugar and Ross Richie will produce. 

Imagine Agents is a comic created by writer Brian Joines and Artist Bachan which is kind of a Men In Black type agency that keeps track of kids imaginary friends.

Why have we over at Gee Vision not heard about this comic book before this sounds absolutely brilliant, I even want to stop this article now and go and have a gander at this comic, this is something that I will personal be keeping on my radar to find out more. 

Micheal Keaton, yes the former batman and recent Birdman is set to produce the movie, and we hope star as this is something I could see keaton in, and doing particularly well in as an agent or even an imaginary friend.

James Horner Has Died at Age 61

James Horner the Oscar winning composer for such films as Aliens, Braveheart and Star Trek 2:The Wrath Of Khan as reportedly been killed in a plane crash aboard his personal plane. 

It is reported that a small plane registered to Mr Horner went down this morning just oustside Santa Barbara CA. It is confirmed that the crashed killed the pilot and the plane was fully destroyed. The pilot has not been identified, and it is not yet known if Horner was flying the plane. The cause of the crash is unclear, with the situation still under investigation. 

Horner's attorney confirmed to THR that the plane did belong to the composer, and  it was later confirmed by multiple sources that James Horner had died within the plane crash he was 61.

INDEPENDENCE DAY 2 EXTENDED SYNOPSIS & CAST REVEALED

We at Gee Vision have heard that a synopsis for Independence Day 2 offering minor details has been released along with the names of the cast, and we are a little excited. I remember way back when, when the first Independence Day was released to mix reviews, and I must admit on the first time of watching the movie I was not a huge fan, but at a later stage in my life I remember enjoying it a lot more the second time around. 

Coming Soon have reported that the following cast have been announced Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Angelababy, Maika Monroe and Liam Hemsworth will be a part of the cast, and it is also reported that they will be a doing a livestream promotion later today along with director Roland Emmerich for the movie.

Colin Trevorrow's 'Jurassic World' - What Did You Think?

Now you have seen it what did you think? It has been over a week now and the park is open, we have finally returned to the island of  Isla Nublar to meet our favorite dinosaurs and more in Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World.

This time around the park is now officially opened with thousands of visitors on a daily basis, safety procedures have been put into place to make sure all guest's and visitors to the park are safe, so what could truly go wrong? I will tell you humanity's greed for money/success and wanting better/bigger, my advice stick to the model of Apple and go smaller, at least then you would not have a 50ft dinosaur out there on the lose. Also don't fuck with mother nature and genetic engineer new dinosaurs it can only lead to trouble, and that is what you get a genetic engineered new dinosaur called the Indominus Rex, and yes it is a badass and you would not wan't this thing lose around your theme park.  

 

To get our discussion going, yes Jurassic world is 10 times better then its previous two sequels, but not a patch on the original, but wasn't this going to be obvious, Jurassic park at the time of it's release in the 90's for kids such as myself was mesmerizing, kids had seen nothing like it, a theme park with dinosaurs how cool is that? But you can see that they have tried to model this new movie closer to the first one, and there are a lot of nods to the original and how good of a film it was, which I thought where nice touches.

Despite all the hype of the movie, and the amount of trailers shown leaving up to the and the high expectations I had for the movie, I was not disappointed, I had tremendous amounts of fun and enjoyed the movie, but it did have some minor setbacks.

My biggest problem with the movie was the use of C.G.I, and not as much animatronic's, I felt that the dinosaurs didn't look as scary as in the first film when they where animatronics. I also didn't like and to some this may be a spoiler

In the movie there was a special guest appearance by Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy Fallon is not actually in the movie, he is a safety video on a ride, this took me out of the movie for a bit because I hate his head, this is just a personal preference, and I'm sure he is a nice person, but his head is just everywhere and his face is a little annoying, and it annoyed me more as this role could have easily been played by Jeff Goldblum, and that would have made that seen a lot more memorable and great.

But apart from those few minor set backs, Jurassic World was a great and enjoyable movie.

Morning all, there seems to be a lack of film stories over the last week, or anything that I feel strongly writing about, but the other day I come across this trailer, and I thought it looked quite cute and funny so I thought I would bring it to your attention.

The trailer I am talking about is for Illuminations 'The Secret Life Of Pets'. The movie is basically about what your pets do in the time between when you leave your house for work and the return home (well in my case as a stay at home husband, they would be doing very little). I mean they must be many pet owners who wonder what there pet's do when there away, well pet lovers here is your answer.

Leaked Jokers Voice Real Or Fake?

A video has been released via Youtube of a possible recording of Jared Leto as the Joker. We at Gee Vision feel that the voice is pretty impressive and quite creepy, and the recording of the voice is not of brilliant quality.

But the question on everyone's lips is, is it real? People have commented that the recording is fake, as lines have been lifted from other material, but is this a recording of his voice practicing for the joker? Who Knows only time will tell, what are your thoughts?

Who’s Directing ‘Halloween Returns’?! (Exclusive)

Yesterday we learnt that the iconic movie killer Micheal Myers would be returning to our screens, and we over at GeeVision got very excited.

We now believe that casting is currently underway on the new Halloween movie titled Hallowwen Returns, a 'recalibration' of the Halloween franchise. The movie will be penned by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan the duo that penned various saw sequels as well as Pacific Rim, The Collector and The Collection.   

Bloody Disgusing have done some digging and was able to exclusively learn Marcus Dunstan is confirmed to direct, and filming will begin in July.
