We must all remember Gremlins from our child hood, I know I do it was one of my favourite films as a child along with the Goonies.
Joe Dante's Gremlins was one of the biggest hit movies of the 80's, and though the 90's sequel may have not been a huge success, and a little silly it still remains in the fans hearts.
For the past few years now, there has been many rumours circulating the world wide web of that of a reboot, nowthis didn't sit very well with the fans or even us over at GeeVision for that matter, but at a recent Q&A for the original film in the UK, actor Zach Galligan (Billy Peltzer) had the following to say.
'' another Gremlins movie is definitely on the way, and it won’t be a remake. It’s not going to be a reboot. It will not be a remake in any way, shape, or form”
“Chris Columbus has come out and said that the first film is very near and dear to his heart and as long as he is alive it will never be remade. So the only thing they will be – and apparently are going to be – doing is something along the lines of like Jurassic World, where it will be 30 years later.”
So they you have it, a Gremlins Trilogy maybe heading our way.
