All-Female Version Of Ocean's 11 In The Works

 A new Ocean's Eleven film is in the works. 

Now some are calling it a reboot/remake/spinoff/ sequel,

 but we at GeeVision are calling it a girlquel (a film that is a 

previous film, lead by a female cast) 

Think the new Ghostbusters, TheExpendabelles, and now 

you have Ocean's Eleven a girlquel. 

The new movie is set to star Sandra Bullock, and feature an 

all female ensemble cast pulling of a daring heist, according 

to the folks over at The Playlist.

The Hunger Games and Seabiscuit director Gary Ross will 

helm the project. Little women scribe Olivia Milch was hired 

months ago to pen the script, which she has now turned in. 

POM KLEMENTIEFF CONFIRMED AS MANTIS FOR GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2

Yesterday it was confirmed that Pom Klementieff had been 

cast in the Guardian's Of The Galaxy Sequel. There was a lot

of speculation that Klementieff would be playing the charactor

Mantis.

The folks over at Deadline have reported that a source of theres

filled them in that after Marvel conducted a wide search for an 

actress of Asian descent they went with Klementieff to play the Mantis.

If we all cast our minds back to a few months ago, 

McConaughey did mention that he had read for a few Marvel 

and DC scripts, I wonder if one of those was Guardians Of

The Galaxy 2?

We do know that Marvel and James Gunn did want Matthew 

McConaughey to play the film's villian thanks to the folks over

at Variety 

Variety mentions that 

 "Marvel and Gunn wanted Matthew McConaughey to play the villain in the superhero sequel, but the actor recently passed, leaving the search for that part still in progress. Sources say that decision should be made in the coming weeks, as production is expected to begin in early 2016."


Any guesses to whom the villian maybe? 

We at GeeVision felt that McConaughey would have been a 

great Adam Warlock/Magus.

THE GOONIES 2 IS HAPPENING WITH ENTIRE ORIGINAL CAST RETURNING!

THE ''GOONIES'' NEVER DIE, and that maybe true. 

It was only the other night that I sat down with my six year old

daughter to watch the classic 80's movie the Goonies, and 

we bothed loved it, so to wake to this news is a little exciting.

Occording to director Richard Donner the Goonies is getting 

a sequel/remake, with the entire original cast returning.

We all know that a script for the Goonies 2 has been written 

many years ago, which follows the son's and daughters of 

the original Goonies, that all go off on an adventure, similar 

to the adventure in the original movie. 

Whilst the director of the original was in the streets 

autographing pictures, this is what he was caught on camera

saying.  

Reporter:
"Are you making another comic book movie?"

Richard Donner:

"If you call Goonies a comic book movie. We're doing a sequel."

Even though this announcement was a few months back, 

and we have no information or announcements, we can only 

speculate and hope that this will materialise.

‘Gotham’ Casts ‘House of Cards’ Actor as Mr. Freeze

Who is loving the new season of Gotham? I know we are. 

The new season of Gotham is sub titled Rise Of The Villians 

and that is what it is, literally The Villians are rising. 

It seems that soon otham will be throwing a new villian in the 

mix in the form of Nathan Darrow as Mr Freeze. 

Darrow is best known for his role on Netflix's hit show 

House Of Cards, but he will be trading in his cards to play 

a recuring role in Gotham as Victor Fries. 

Like the villian featured in the DC Comics, Fries is driven to a

life of crime as he goes to extreme measures to figure out 

how to freeze his terminally ill wife before she dies. 

The charactor previously portrayed in the awful Batman and 

Robin by Arnold Schwarzenegger will begin his arc as one of 

Gothams preeminent cryogenics engineers. 

MARK RUFFALO SAYS WE'LL SEE THOR VS. HULK IN RAGNAROK

Thor VS The Hulk, but I thought it was supposed to be a 

buddy picture? 

I do think that this Thor VS Hulk as been blown out of 

porpotion just a little, or maybe not, I mean if you think about 

it, it would just be like when you and your besty have had a 

few to many, and have a little punch out, but this is the Hulk 

and God of Thunder we are talking about, so a little punch 

up would be massive. 

This is what Mark Ruffalo said to The NY Daily News 

 "I don't really know that much about it, but I think it's going to be a buddy picture with Thor and Bruce Banner. I think they'll probably fight. There's no doubt, everyone wants us to fight at one point."

Ruffalo continued with mention of what he does know about the film.

"I know that it's about (the Norse legends of) 'Ragnarok,' or the end times in the Marvel universe as it pertains to Thor — which seems to be quite the theme these days in movies," Ruffalo said.

There you have it from Ruffalo himself a buddy movie, and

as for the fighting, I wouldn't expect a huge fall out. 

Is Iron Fist getting replaced with ... The Punisher?

I must admit this news excites me as I am a huge Punisher 

fan. It is a little unfare to say this is the best move because I

know very little of Iron Fist, but I'm sure he is nothing 

compared to the Punisher. 

the folks over at Peel the Orange are reporting that a source 

has told them that...

"Marvel can’t quite seem to figure out how to put Iron Fist into the equation and time is running out. They’re very pleased with how Jon Bernthal’s portrayal of Frank Castle for Season 2 of Daredevil and know that the fans have a great appreciation for the character. They also know that a Punisher series would be much cheaper and more marketable. They have a contract with Netflix and have to do something. It appears that for this phase of shows, time is running thin for Iron Fist."

We must take this information though with a grain of salt, it 

it is only a speculation, but how great would that speculation 

be if it turns out to be true. 


This would though make a lot of sense, as the rumor 

suggests, not only is the Punisher a fan favorite, but he is 

already set to appear in Netflix's next season of The 

Punisher, played by The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal, so he 

could easy go stright into his own series. 

Well we can only hope. 

Doctor Who’s Companion Gets His Own Movie!

K9 Timequake will bring Doctor Who’s robotic companion to the big screen! 


Yes any doctor who fan will love him, K9 Dr Who's loveable robot 

dog companion is heading to the big screen, in his very own 

feature film. 

The project is only known as ''K9:Timequake'' and the movi was 

announced yesterday via K9's official Facebook page. 

The ''K9:Timequake'' feature film will continue the adventures of 

K9 stright after the recent television series, bringing K9 face to 

face with the classic Dr Who villian, Omega.


K9 Timequake will hit cinemas in the United Kingdom in 2017.

I'm still not 100% sure what my thoughts are yet, not just 

on Jared Leto as the Joker, but the whole Suicide Squad 

movie. But as time keeps passing I get a little more into the 

project and get a little more excited. 

We havne't commented on much news of Warner Bros 

upcoming Suicide Squad, because they has not been much 

news on the project since the movie's comic-con panel. 

But now we have a new reveal of Jared Leto in full costume 

as the Joker. 

The Joker steps out in a big way on the cover of the new 

Empire Magazine, which proclaims Leto's Character as a 

''psycho Killer'. 

I must admit, when we first got a glimpse of the Joker, with 

all the tattoo's I was not a huge fan, but the full look as 

started to grow on me, I must admit my first thoughts where 

this is f&$*ing awful.

“Ash vs Evil Dead”: We Have the Opening 4-Minutes!

One of the greatest Horror movies of all time is now getting 

a television series, and all I can say is ''GROOVY''.

Gee Vision has the first opening 4 minutes from the 

''Ash VS The Evil Dead'' Show, where we are introduced 

to our older but just as arrogant and confident Ash, played 

by the king of B Movies Bruce Campbell.

The 10 episode series is set to premiere October 31st.

Edgar Wright and Johnny Depp Teaming Up for Neil Gaiman’s ‘Fortunately, the Milk’

When I heard the news of this project I must admit I got a 

little bit excited, who wouldn't, I mean Edgar Wright, Johnny 

Depp and Neil Gaiman teaming up for a project. 

The project is for a children's boo written by Gaiman called 

''Fortunately The Milk''. I must admit that I am a huge fan of 

Gaiman's work but I have never read ''Fortunately The Milk''

The book is described as '' a story of time travel and 

breakfast cereal''. 

THR reportd that the movie will be adapted by Bret Mckenzie

one half of the comedy duo ''Flight Of The Concords'' and 

Oscar winner for his musical work on The Muppets.

If you are not familiar with the tale, like myself here is a 

description.

A little boy and his little sister awake one morning, milkless. Their mother is away on business, their father is buried in the paper, and their Toastios are dry. What are young siblings to do? They impress upon their father that his tea is also without milk and sit back to watch their plan take effect. But something goes amiss, and their father doesn’t return and doesn’t return some more. When he does, finally, he has a story to tell, a story involving aliens; pirates; ponies; wumpires (not the handsome, brooding kind); and a stegosaurus professor who pilots a Floaty-Ball-Person-Carrier (which looks suspiciously like a hot-air balloon). There is time travel, treachery, and ample adventure, and, fortunately, the milk he has procured is rescued at every turn.

The movie will be a live-action and animation hybrid, 

presumably with the fantasy and sc-fi elements being brought

to life with animation around real actors. 

Crowdfunded Super Troopers Sequel Starts Shooting

I must admit that the original Super Troopers, escaped my 

radar and I never so it, but after reading up about it, I'm sure 

that it will be a movie I watch in the near future, especially if 

we are getting a sequel.

The company behind the comedy troupe Broken Lizard 

have begun production on ''Super Troopers 2'' six months 

after raising $4.4 million in a crowdfunding campaign. 

The campaign was the second most successful crowdfunding

campaign for a movie after ''Veronica Mars''

The movie will reunite all five of the Troopers from the 

original film. 

Bruce Willis makes Broadway debut as ‘Misery” begins previews

Now I do not usually write about stage productions, but 

when a stage version of the Stephen King Hit Misery hits 

the theatres, but not only that it stars action star John 

McClain AKA Bruce Willis, then I have something to say.

For those of you that may not know what Misery was, it 

was a book then a movie that followed a successful romance

novelist Paul Sheldon, who is rescued from a car crash by 

his ''Number One Fan'' Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive

in her secluded home. 

All I can say is sledgehammers and a lot of screaming on 

stage I'm there. 

Misery is currently playing at the Broadhurst Theatre

‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ Trailer

I must be honest and admit I don't know what I think about 

this movie. For one I'm not a lover of pereodic movies or

Television shows, but throw a few zombies into the mix and

you have my attention. 

On saying that after viewing the trailer for the upcoming 

'Pride And Prejudice And Zombies' I'm still not that keen on 

seeing the movie, maybe my thoughts will change, when we 

get a redband trailer, but for now this movie is well of my 

radar of movies that I wan't to see.

RJ Cyler Joins the Power Rangers Movie

Any day now we will have the full PowerRangers line up, so 

far we know that Naomi Scott (Terra Nova, The Martian) will 

be our Pink Ranger, Dacre Montgomery will be the Red 

Ranger, Ludi Lin will be the Black Ranger, and now RJ Cyler

as been confirmed by the films official Instagram page that 

he will be the Blue Ranger. 

You may remember RJ Cyler for playing one of the title roles 

in Alfonso Gomez-Rejons Me and Earl and the dying girl.


That leads us now, if I remember correctley, and it's a 

re-make of the hit 90's show, which I watched as a kid, that 

we only have the Yellow Ranger and the Green Ranger to 

cast. 

We may have the full line up by Christmas.  

‘Harry Potter and The Cursed Child': Story Details Revealed

OK this morning we did an article on some of the concept art 

for the upcoming production of the new West End Play 

Harry Potter and the curse child, but now we have some 

story details for you thanks to the folks over at collider.com.

Today on Pottermore, J.K. Rowling has finally announced 

some details on what to expect in the new stage play. 

Rowling as officially dubbed it the eighth story in the Harry 

Potter series. 

The play will center on the overworked adult Harry and his 

youngest son Albus, the story will see past and present fuse 

ominously as darkness comes from unexpected places.

year we shall be getting a stage play in the west end  of

The play is titled Harry Potter and the cursed child and is
