It sounds like a cheap cheesey SC-FI channel movie.
Mattel is apparently hoping to give the ''Transformers'' a run
for its money by bringing an 80's cartoon to the big screen
''Dino-Riders''.
Dino-Riders first aired in 1988, but it was primarily a driving
force to Launch a new Tyco toy line, so only fourteen
episodes were produced.
PLOT SUMMARY
The series focuses on the battle between the good Valorians and evil Rulons on prehistoric Earth.[2] The Valorians were a super human race, while the Rulons were a mixture of humanoid creatures — both of which came from the future, however ended up transported back in time to the age of Dinosaurs. Once on Earth, the Valorians befriended dinosaurs while the Rulons brain-washed them.[2]
The adaptation is reportedly envisioned as a huge action
adventure blockbuster geared towards a family audience.
The producers have said they are searching for a screen
writer.
