Source:SlashFilm
The other day we where treated to the trailer for the big

screen adaptation of Blizzard Entertainments video game

franchise Warcraft, and it looks like that this is just the

beginning of the video game company's foray into film and

television.

Activision Blizzard has just announced the creation of

Activision Blizzard Studios, which will oversee screen

adaptations of video game titles.

The company plan to begin with a Call Of Duty movie and

a Skylanders TV series.

The Skylanders TV series will be an animation programme

called Skylanders Academy, based on the toys to life video

game franchise.

Running the Skylanders show will be Futurama vetran Eric

Rodgers and promise voice talents from Justin Long,

Ashley Tisdale, Jonathan Banks and Norman Macdonald.

There is no indication when the show will be released, but

plans are to get the ball rolling very soon.

As for the Call Of Duty movie, it seems that at this moment

in time it is just a hopeful idea, but the plans are to build a

cinematic universe based on the Call Of Duty Franchise.
