"SNOWPIERCER" STEAMING TOWARD TELEVISION

Source:comicbookresources.com

I must admit I was a huge, huge fan of Bong Joon-ho's

''SnowPiercer'' I would even go as far to say it was one of

my top 5 films of 2013, and now it is being adapted for

television.

According to our folks over at The Hollywood Reporter

Tomorrow Studios has optioned the rights to the film, and

Josh Friedman is set to write the script.

The movie starred Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell

and John Hurt and was based on ''le Transperceneige'' the

1982 post-apocalyptic French graphic novel by

Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette.
"Snowpiercer" is set in a future where an environmental
catastrophe has induced planet-wide ice age, forcing the last
remnants of humanity onto a 1,000-car train that travels the
globe. A rigid class system forces the lower classes into the
end of the train while the elite enjoy the relative luxury of the
front, leading to a violent revolution.
