GEORGE ROMERO'S EMPIRE OF THE DEAD COMING TO AMC

Source:.cosmicbooknews

We have The Walking Dead, we have Fear The Walking

dead so do we really need another TV show about the

living undead. Many readers may say no, but we at

GeeVision say yes especially when it is based of the main

man George Romero who brought us the Zombies.

The news came from comic book artist Arthur Suydam, who

did the variant cover art for Romero's Marvel comic series.

"The series I just finished up for Marvel Comics as a matter of fact, so this is me and George Romero, and this just got signed by AMC. So it's going to be the next big zombie series on AMC,"
Empire of the dead is set in NYC and features not only
zombies but vampires.
Here is the description of the first issue published back in
January 2014.
ZOMBIE GODFATHER GEORGE ROMERO UNLEASHES HIS NEXT UNDEAD EPIC—AS AN ALL-NEW MARVEL COMIC! Welcome to New York City years after the undead plague has erupted—but just because Manhattan has been quarantined, don't think that everyone inside is safe! Not only do flesh-eaters roam within Manhattan, but there's another ancient predator about to take a bite out of the Big Apple! Plus: It's a terrorizing team-up in variant cover form when the Zombie Godfather unites with the Zombie King – Arthur Suydam!
